Melbourne, the most liveable city of the world!

Melbourne, the most liveable city of the world!

Melbourne is the most loveable and amazing place of the world with plethora of natural beauty and cuisines and of its location in the Southern Hemisphere.

To be the most liveable city of the world, you have to consider various factors like climate, cuisine, tourist destinations, and the cultural diversity of the place. And if you are searching for one such place it has to be Melbourne.

Of many things that set Melbourne class apart are the Kangaroos and Penguins that you will not find anywhere else in the world.

A walk to the Phillip Island will give a great picturesque of little penguins making their way to the shore every night at the home of the world’s largest Penguin colony, which is known as the “Penguin Parade”.

And to get a perfect blend of nature and life, at its very best a walk in the Royal Botanical Garden will cleanse and heal both your mind

And when you are retired for the day and want to have fun and a light moment with your friends you can explore the Melbourne laneways and can grab a drink at the Bar Watermark situated on the water,, overlooking the picturesque Victoria harbour, which is filled with music and sip cocktails here.

Paperback editions vs. eBooks

Paperback editions vs. eBooks

The world is changing fast and keeping in pace with it is challenging. There is a saying, “Nothing is permanent, but change is!!”

“Change is difficult at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.”
The way of reading has changed for some time now, with the advent of eBooks and is popular among readers. And its popularity has grown from strength to strength with time. The 44th edition of Indispire has brought discussion to the table, of between paperback and eBooks which is better.

Though I personally wanted paperback editions to win over eBooks because of the physical touch it gives to the readers and its smell, but there was a dilemma. And I had to fight with my thoughts and my words, when I started to write about them. I thought it to be easy; giving paperback editions a clear winning edge over eBooks in my thoughts, but putting thoughts into words was very difficult. I just couldn't distinguish between them, and had to let go of the differences.

To differentiate between them, is to wage a war, which is completely out of the context, for they are two sides of the same coin. Though #paperbackvsebooks was created, but eventually it became a win-win condition. For whatever the writer decided is better, it was always reading that was enhanced and I then realised, that things change with time. And everyone who has written under the hash tag paperbackvsebooks must have been torn apart to make a difference between the two. It is better not to find which is better and which isn't.

Knowledge is power and is above everything and anything for that matter. And change is the only thing permanent. Long live Paperback editions along with it successors and may it rise like a Phoenix, in future, if its kingdom is ever challenged.

Thank You all,
Kishan Chand Swain.

Why does this happen over and over again??

Why does this happen over and over again??

Shivering and the body feel cold and things just seem to get out hands, when you plunge into the unknown. These are the first hand expressions of something weird that may happen. And most importantly you just don’t know what is going to happen next. I just question myself is it for real or is this something that was meant to happen.

Have I just fooled myself into the fact that “When God is with me who can be against me.” Or maybe I haven’t fooled myself at all. But when you don’t know anything, suspicion may raise causing bewilderment leading to doubt.

Krishna can it ever be, that you aren't with me, when I need you the most or are you in the process of finding off what pain, can this creation of yours can endure.
I just know something as a matter of fact, that when everything seems delusional and things may go out of your hands just, “HOLD ON!!”

Will I be ever rewarded?? As such I just believe that and the only thing I have ever believed is
“When Krishna is with me, I have got nothing to fear.”
May Love Prevail......

Vagabond

Vagabond
The rules of life don’t apply here.  Just because a vagabond comes with the tag “No strings attached.” He doesn’t have a rule; neither is interested in making one.

Life is more fun when you don’t have any rules and why should be there any rules for that matter. For when you are born, you didn’t have a guide book to lead in one way or the other.

Life never says what to do. It’s up to you to decide where to go and where not to. Instead it just gave you, the beautiful planet earth and the power to fulfil your destiny, in whatever field you choose to follow.

It’s your life, live it to the very best like a vagabond. NO RULES, NOTHING!!

Just follow your heart and it will lead you directly to your destiny.

A blank page

A blank page
Life is a series of events, happening one after the other and almost instantly. Even before you process the information and react, the moment has already passed. It is very cruel to those who waste it and never ever gives you the opportunity to reprocess the lost time.
Time is the most important asset and it always will be, no matter what is your excuse, it never cares and moves on, in its never ending journey. It goes with the saying, “What has been done, can’t be undone.” Off-course not, until we have the leverage of a time machine. It is all in a moment and the next second it vanishes, with a blink of an eye.

It’s like an idea that strikes you for a second and you dismiss it the other second. It might not have been a perfect fit at that instance. And when you have read the work you have completed, you find the puns; irony and all the figures of speech have perfectly matched to their corresponding words making a perfect sense.

But you know, it wasn’t at first you wanted to write a pun or something, it was just because you felt that it should be the correct attribute, for the events that follow in the passage.

Within moments, a blank page has finally found its meaning and purpose, to be a proof of your world class or a start-up that is going to be world class.
Who knows!!
Of what will happen next or after this moment

Time changes fast and it happens to be the only thing that permanent. Time is the really an asset!!

Book Review of Time of Death: Induction

Book Review of Time of Death: Induction

Life becomes a large cauldron, when your worst fears chase you for your life and even more worse when you don’t know from whom you are running from.
The story starts with a shriek “Code Brown in room 204”, which gives you an eerie feeling of what has happened and you have to dig in, to know what caused the panic and what will be the aftermath of it.

Lives of Jake and Emma change forever when the un-dead chase them, for their neighbours start eating each other and were next in queue to be eaten.
The story describes the petrified lives of the living and the ways they devise to be protected from the un-dead. It all started with a bite, and it spread like a wild fire in every direction. With the passage of time the un-dead hunt the living and in the process give rise to a whole new army of more un-dead, with ever increasing proportions.

Jake and Emma run for their lives in search of any living and find a group of people who were taking shelter in make shift houses, until they were again force to leave their houses when attacked by the infected zombies. And the story describes the ways they invent and devise to stay away from the zombies and to move far away from them.

I don’t want to be spoiler of what has happened in the story, but it is a must read book for all the zombie lovers.

My Review:

Well poised novel with a lot of drama and fear. There is always an eerie feeling with the characters in the novel of being attacked by some zombie and to get infected. Jake and Emma, the protagonist of the story were always on their feet since the outbreak of the infection. There was a bit of reconciliation towards the end and the fear that once grasped Jake and Emma was now ward-off and peace prevailed. The humming of the birds and the cries of the children were more of music than noises to our protagonists, after a long battle for survival.

I just had a feeling the ending is going to be like the stories that we heard when we were kids “Happily Ever After!”, but as everything seemed ok, the author, brought the infection again to the survivors and there was a twist, at the very end of the story.

It gives a bird’s I view, of the events, from the eyes of a woman (Emma) and it
captures the moments in the story that only a woman can understand.

I am very thankful to Shana Festa for considering me to review her novel.

Book Review of The Professional Freelancer

Book Review of
 The Professional Freelancer
Notes from the Author:

The Professional Freelance was not written in a traditional format. It was written from the protagonist’s point-of-view. He is talking directly to you; the reader

My Review

The protagonist of the story is quite vivid and exemplary, in putting forward his thoughts. And has his own way to depict and compare a situation.

He learns the lessons of life in the hard way and is unlucky for most half of the story. He gets a decent job, after shifting from one job to the other and ending a depression-era, until he loses his job and his pay checks again and to make matter worse he is ditched by his girlfriend.

He responds to the wrong classified ad, and lands himself in a dominatrix’s apartment, where he has to attend to Rose. And in the course of time, he lands himself in an old and dilapidated house, while trying to solve a case.

The sequels and prequels play their part in the story, and you have keep track of the events happening and have to connect with the past to know the future, else you have to do the vice-versa, for you may fall into zigzag roads created within the story.

The story is quite humorous and you will find yourself smiling, metaphorically to the description of the facts and figures, related to in the story.

It is an excellent book and very good indeed. I would like to read more books by the author, Rory Scherer.

I am very grateful to Rory Scherer for considering me to review his book.

The Last Infection (The Hand That Feeds)

Book Review of the book
The Last Infection (The Hand That Feeds)
“Run For your lives!!”
Will be the first logical statement that you can think of when you are being chased by weird hunters with the likes of zombies, half dead and the infected and it seems even more dreadful when they hunt you in packs.
The story starts with Jake and Alicen siblings running for their lives when they meet Chris, searching for food. They again run for their lives, when they meet other survivors Jenn, Sarah and others who have survived the last infection.
The situation gets worse when they have a limited supply of food, water, and fuel.
The group gets smaller and smaller with time as the infected attack many of the survivors and feed on them. All they have is a little hope that they might survive.
My Review
The storyline is terrific and as you read the novel you will be immersed in the story and you can feel that you are one of the characters, looking at the story as it unfolds itself from a distance. You can feel the horror, the sweat trickling down your face and the adrenalin rush with the sound of the blood pumping as the infected run after you. It’s just terrifying. I just loved the little girl “Alicen” and the beauty with which she holds her curiosity and her sweet words.

I am very thankful to Michael W. Garza for considering me to review his book. A must read book for the zombie lovers and I am looking forward for the sequel.

Diamones Book Review

Diamones Book Review

ON THE GODS AND THE WORLD

“These things never happened, but they are always.”
                                                                             ~Sallustius
“Deorum naturae neque factae sunt; quae enim semper sunt, numquam
fiunt: semper vero sunt.
Life is very uncertain and in the path is always unknown. And we can always expect the unexpected in our lives. There is but one thing that is certain, death. It is again Hope that keeps mankind in the hunt towards a better future and to believe in the impossible which helps in imagining things and converting them into reality.

We don’t care what happens to the world until unless we are a part of it and worse if something bad happen to us. And then all of a sudden we realise how important life is and how much we miss our loved ones.
The world is a beautiful place to live in and also scary for the future is unpredictable. Things can be delusional and can be no longer the same, the way it was last night or the last day.

Mary and Dan are a happy couple, but things turn upside down when they wake up one morning. There is an eerie feeling all around their house, and it seems as if silence reins the place. Dan finds out the horror that has happened the previous night as the village they live in has turned into a cemetery. Everyone is dead except Dan, Mary and their daughter Annah.

The story describes the horror they undergo and the way they fit into the new society of the dead and their hunt for survivors. The novel describes beautifully the scenarios and the circumstances that any living being would have felt had he been a part of the same situation. The way they adapt and train themselves for the uncertainty and the how they are enlightened about their purpose in this world by the creatures created by Massimo Marino is to watch out for.

The novel is a class in itself and the audacity with which it describes the human emotions in times of uncertainty is one of its kinds. A great novel, that sets itself class apart.

I am very thankful to Massimo Marino for considering me to review the book “Diamones” Vol.1 of the Diamones Triology. International Authors' Day

There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat;
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.
                                                                   ~ William Shakespeare
Life is a series of mysterious events happening every moment or the other and we have no clue of what is going to happen next and how. And in this conjecture of events, there is a zenith where the world conspires with you to give you the power to read and share.
Curiosity has taken man to places never seen or heard about. The act of sharing is a gift which has no limits. The ability to deliver a speech in a few words as opposed to speaking for a longer period of time can only be learnt by the power of reading and sharing.

Reading can be somebody's hobby and for someone it may be his passion. It has been by far my hobby to read more and more. And in the International Authors Day it is very difficult to choose an author and a specific genre.

Currently there are many Indian authors who have written many books on Indian Mythology, so for a quite some time it has been my favourite genre. Learning a lot about Indian mythology and History is very interesting.

Ashwin Sanghi’s novel “The Krishna Key” is the best book that I have read, in this genre, adding to the fact that there are many good authors and books in this category like Amish’s The Shiva Trilogy, Asura, Sita, The Thundergod, Govinda, The Kauravas, but The Krishna Key cathes everyone’s attention from the very first page and the evidences provided in the novel is just incredible and unparallel in its own way.

The serial killer who kills to prove himself as the last avatar of Lord Vishnu, and the intrigue story that follows it is just mesmerising and it keeps the reader in the hunt of what new evidence about Indian Mythology is he going to encounter in the next page.
And the better part of reading the book is that I have referred it to as many friends as possible and we all had a great fun discussing the Indian Mythology and in the process we had shared a lot of information we collected from various sources and the experiences we had from our childhood about “Lord Krishna”.

Moving the next book that I loved and my very first novel that I ever read is “Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, and after that I had gone onto read every book of his and the philosophy he has about life is something that heals your heart and takes you to a world you have never heard of. Its life changing and very inspiring and “20 seconds reading” in his blog is even better and the moral he adds is what no other author ever does.

Again moving to another genre, autobiographies the book by Richard Branson’s “Losing My Virginity” is an exceptional book and it is a great business guide that takes you off your limits and to the horizon that seemed till now very far is now within your grasp. The knowledge Sir Richard Branson shares, his projects in the areas of health and his reflections about life is just incredible. He describes why it should be in the early ages of your life you should start your business, because the curiosity and the ability to look the beyond the ordinary and the wish to be better than the best, can only be found if you are in the age of seventeen or eighteen. A must buy book for all those who want to excel in the world of business.

And for the closing ceremony are the books for all Network Marketers, Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Business School, by Robert T. Kiyosaki, gives you the insight into this new world of business and the innumerable possibilities it has to offer and the ways in which it defied the orthodox ways business is being done and why is it the Business of the 21st century and it talks about dreams and to think big and to believe in the impossibility and most importantly how to achieve those. Robert T.Kiyosaki says “Financial struggle is often the result of people working all their lives for someone else.”

Finally I do love a poem by H. W. Longfellow its

“A Psalm of Life”

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no Future, howe’er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act,— act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o’erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

All the authors of the world “Happy Authors Day”.

Book review of Protostar

Book review of Protostar

“There is a force that exists in this universe that is uncontrollable and impossible to contain by any man, creature, or entity. It is an overwhelming, all-consuming power that can either build or break whatever it touches. That force . . . is something called love.”

Book Blurb
On the brink of Civil War, the Torrian Alliance continues with its mission to obliterate Star-children across the universe in order to suppress an intergalactic evil. Following the recommendations of his Council, King Gregorio Derry has agreed to send his only son William, on a mission to restore honor to his family. What starts out routine, becomes a lot more complicated as an inopportune crash landing delays the assassination. During this time, William begins to form a 'connection' with Sydney that challenges his inner being. But this conflict is the least of his problems, as a conspiracy back on his home planet Fabricius threatens the lives of those he loves and his father's royal legacy. Along with that, he must unravel a hidden threat here on Earth that seeks to secure a vested interest that threatens both his and Sydney's safety. Will William be able to complete his mission or will he choose love, sacrificing everything he stands for?
My review
It’s simple, soft and is a wonderful book that you can read it at one go. It is an incredible piece of story on love of two lovebirds that apparently don’t belong from two different states or countries but in fact they belong from two different parts of the universe. Prince William Walker Jeremiah Derry, who is destined to kill the star child from earth, Sydney, falls in love when he meets her. And the love blossoms with the passage of time but IMPI, an artificial intelligence assists William in his endeavours on Earth and helps him find the star child. But the love of Sydney and her grandmother Sarah make him feel more at home and the thought of killing Sydney, fades away and he vows to protect the Star Child with all his might for it is only love that conquers all. The climax of the novel is just thrilling and it keeps you in the hunt of what happens next.
A must read book for all those who want to know what it is to love a guy from another Universe. Braxton, has done a wonderful job in proving that Love alone is the most powerful force in the Universe
Just grab a copy of the Protostar by BRAXTON A. COSBY as soon as possible for you can’t afford of not having the book on your book-shelf.
