Book Review of The Professional Freelancer

Book Review of
 The Professional Freelancer
Notes from the Author:

The Professional Freelance was not written in a traditional format. It was written from the protagonist’s point-of-view. He is talking directly to you; the reader

My Review

The protagonist of the story is quite vivid and exemplary, in putting forward his thoughts. And has his own way to depict and compare a situation.

He learns the lessons of life in the hard way and is unlucky for most half of the story. He gets a decent job, after shifting from one job to the other and ending a depression-era, until he loses his job and his pay checks again and to make matter worse he is ditched by his girlfriend.

He responds to the wrong classified ad, and lands himself in a dominatrix’s apartment, where he has to attend to Rose. And in the course of time, he lands himself in an old and dilapidated house, while trying to solve a case.

The sequels and prequels play their part in the story, and you have keep track of the events happening and have to connect with the past to know the future, else you have to do the vice-versa, for you may fall into zigzag roads created within the story.

The story is quite humorous and you will find yourself smiling, metaphorically to the description of the facts and figures, related to in the story.

It is an excellent book and very good indeed. I would like to read more books by the author, Rory Scherer.

I am very grateful to Rory Scherer for considering me to review his book.
